Design and Development

LIMB-art prosthetic leg covers are designed and developed using the latest Computer Aided Design and Manufacture (CAD & CAM) processes.

Developed with maximum durability in mind, our leg covers are able to withstand the rough and tumble of even our most active customers.

Material and Manufacture

We use a robust high grade nylon, known for its strength and durability and injection moulding to produce our prosthetic leg covers.

This enables us to overcome all the drawbacks of 3D printing methods, which produce products which can be brittle and have poor relative durability.

The high quality material we use doesn’t react with water, detergents, acids, or bases, so it won’t break down easily. It is resistant to cracking and stress, even when flexed, and it is impact resistant, so stands up to daily wear and tear.

Recyclable

Nylon is recyclable and can be reformed into pellets that can then be used to make new products. So breaking away from the disposable plastic stereotype, our base product can be recycled and stay out of landfills.

It’s tough. It’s durable. It’s recyclable.
