- Do LIMB-art covers come with a warranty?
All LIMB-art covers come by a no quibble 12 month replacement warranty for broken or defective covers. The warranty does not include paint or wrap coatings.
All approved warranty claims will be processed and shipped within 21 days of approval.
All sales are final and LIMB-art Ltd will not issue any credit or refund.

- How do I know what size LIMB-art cover to order?
- How do LIMB-art covers fit to my prosthetic?
LIMB-art covers come with two strong, slightly elastic straps. To attach your cover, simply strap it around your prosthetic leg and tighten the straps. This will keep it in place and stop it from turning round or riding up. The straps are easy to use and allow you to be able to swap and change covers to suit your outfit or mood.
- Are LIMB-art covers durable?
All LIMB-art covers are designed and built with durability in mind. During development, covers were tested in a controlled environment for reaction to temperature extremes, flexibility and impact resistance to make sure they would not only look great but would withstand the rough and tumble of real life.
LIMB-art offers a no quibble 12 month breakage warranty. (Paint and wraps not included)
- How long does delivery take?
LIMB-art is UK based. LIMB-art aims to ship any standard cover within 28 days of receiving your order. Shipping can take up to 14 days depending where you are in the country.
Bespoke custom covers take longer and are entirely dependent on the design specifications.
- How much is delivery?
Delivery is free anywhere in the United States.
- Do LIMB-art covers fit above and below knee prosthetics?
All LIMB-art covers are universal and designed to fit above and below knee prosthetics.
- Will a LIMB-art cover fit my MPK prosthetic?
All LIMB-art covers are designed to fit virtually all prosthetics including MPKs without interfering with flexion, extension or swing through.
- What are LIMB-art covers made of?
All LIMB-art covers are made of a high grade nylon (PA6/Nylon 6), known for its strength and durability. It is used in a wide variety of applications from car dashboards and fire brigade face shields to kettles and microwaveable food containers. It doesn’t react with water, detergents or acids so won’t break down easily. It’s resistant to cracking and stress, even when flexed, and it is impact resistant, so stands up to daily wear and tear.
This material was chosen as it is very robust, flexible and forms perfectly with a high degree of accuracy.
- What do LIMB-art covers weigh?
All LIMB-art covers are very lightweight and only weigh between 180-290g, depending on size and design. The difference in weight when wearing a LIMB-art cover is virtually undetectable.
In fact, customers say, “I can’t feel any weight difference with my cover on or off.”
- How are LIMB-art covers finished?
Depending on your design selection, LIMB-art covers can be unpainted, painted in a colour from our colour palette, hydrodipped in a range of finishes from carbon fibre to flames, vinyl wrapped or painted with any design you can imagine and finished with a protective clear topcoat in high gloss or satin.
- Are Limb-art covers Eco-Friendly?
All LIMB-art covers are made from a high grade Nylon, which is recyclable.
This Nylon can be reformed into pellets that can then be used to make new products, so keeping Limb-art covers out of landfills and eco friendly. LIMB-art covers are tough, durable and recyclable.
- Are custom covers available?
Services include specific colours, glitter and flick paints, non-standard hydrodips, custom designed vinyl wraps or artist designed and painted one-offs. Simply give a basic description of what you are looking for and we'll get back to you with a tailored quote.
- Can Limb-art covers be modified?
Yes, Limb-Art covers are both trimmable and heat moldable. In addition, holes can be fabricated to accommodate pin lock systems.
